Hailing from northwestern New Jersey, Ludlow Station is primarily an all original instrumental quartet made up of bass, drums, guitar, and organ. Ludlow also incorporates the human voice and saxophone into it's sound. Ludlow Station's musical style doesn't quite fit into one genre, but is more a concoction of jazz, funk, blues, rock, and improvisation.
Guitarist Chris Rakow, bassist Braden Gillum, and Mike Panella on vintage keyboards have been playing music together since the mid 1990's. Drummer Steve Farrell joined the band in 1998. Shortly after the turn of the century, singer Bill Tortoriello and Pat Sutor on saxophone became a presence at the band's performances.
Ludlow Station has been and will be a long-term passion for all those involved. We hope you enjoy the music, and we'll see you in the future!
